Spitalfields businesses [January 08]
In January Sophie Coudray, our managing director, has become a director of the Spitalfields Small Business Association. The organisation has been supporting businesses and communities around Brick Lane and played a strategic role in developing and preserving the area over the past 2 decades. We are most pride to support their work and the local community.

Christmas time [December 07]
We are closing a packed full year on wel deserved holidays. Our office will be closed from Friday 21st December to Thursday 4th of January. Best wishes for 2008.

Campaign for Change [November 07]
Secondary students now have a voice!! We have launched www.studentvoice.co.uk earlier this month just on time for ESSA's student Council conference. The website will grow and offer campaigning and networking tools for students to get their voice heard... Listen to this space! Or if you are aged 11 to 19 sign up and make change happen!

African summer [October 07]
After all the frenzy and socialsing of London Design Festival and Fashion week, we return to deeper matters with the African Financial Markets, a long term project based on a unique database gathering financial company information from 20 African countries listed on the stock market. The data is made available through charting and search tools demonstrating the investment opportunity in Africa. Members can already watch their favourites or keep an eye on the gainers and losers and a gold membership scheme is now on its way. Sign up!

Work that space! [September 07]
The Digital Women's Club is meeting at the end of the month during the London Design festival, to network and share our speakers' tips on social networking. We will celebrate the end of our training project at the closing party on Designersblock: Illustrate festival in Highbury, Friday 21st. Event details here.

The year of the podcast [April 07]
This is no April's fool; MusicTank new web site is finally live! MusicTank is a business development network for the UK music industry, owned and operated by the University of Westminster. MusicTank runs regular events that you can now catch on line on their podcast and discuss in the community area! We are also working on Forest Flava podcast! Young People of Waltham Forest were invited to take part in the X-factor type of competition 'Search for a star'. The videos will soon be available on line...

Making the 'Rights' Decision [March 07]
Sophie Coudray, director @ antersite, is taking part in the OWN-IT and Create KX event: Making the 'Rights' Decision on Thursday 15 March 2007, 6.00pm-9.00pm. She will be presenting Antersite's Content Management System 'Anterprise' and the copyright and ownership issues involved in developing such 'Open Source' application. Learning opportunity [January 07]

Young voice [October 06]
Forest Flava, a new web site for young people living or studying in Waltham Forest Council, went live this month. This on going project currently offers local information and advice and we are now starting the second phase of development, inviting young people to contribute their own content.

Bubbly and Panto for Christmas! [Sept 06]
This month we are launching two new web sites with delectable surprises for Christmas but not only... Degustation is going live to offer French Champagne to the UK via a unique yearly subscription (A new Champagne every month to your door!) and tastings for your parties, tres chic! Theatre Royal Stratford East are launching their new web site and they will present their traditional Panto for Christmas but meantime it is a Hip Hop dance revolution at the Royal with Pied Piper!

Back to skool [August 06]
For us here school starts in the summer for a few days of fun at Summer Uni with the kids of Tower Hamlets and all over London... This year we learnt how to use Flash and created animations that you can see here. We looked at the animation vs animator video on You tube [removed], we loved it... and listened to music on Radio Blog Club. Great stuff!

What the kids want [July 06]
We are taking part in a new consultation for the Waltham Forest Children Act Project. We visited schools with researchers at Gatehouse Partnership to understand what the young children of the borough, as young as 3 up to 11, want to do online... It was great fun! Parents and teachers will be consulted later in the summer. More about this in the new year...

The Festival of Youth Arts comes back with a new name and identity for another week of creative events: May 27th - June 2nd. The new web site is already live calling for participation and creative work. Forest Flava and youth e-panel. [Mar 06]
Young people can now have more say in how Waltham Forest is run thanks to a new web site and youth panel. The web site will be live after the summer: www.forestflava.org.uk but the youth panel gathered on the 19th of March at WF Town hall for the pre-launch and testing of the beta platform. E-Merging - [October 2004]
E-merging are a group of freelance web designers trained through the ESF and LDA funded Women in New Media Project organised by Hoxton Bibliotech (The Innovatory) and Antersite. The project was launched in October around the students' showcase. The E-merging network gathers versatile freelance web developers who can provide innovative, specialist & cost-effective web design solutions for local small businesses.
